Let's Finish Things!  MAKEUP/SKIN CARE

Finishing things has always been a struggle for me.  It doesn't matter what it is, finishing up a knitting project, soaking the yarn or labeling it (I never label it), shipping, finishing laundry, finishing a sewing project, even finishing out the weekly spread on my planner...seriously, you name it, following through with the finish is something I REALLY struggle with, to the point I think there might be something psychologically stopping me from it.  

So, with that being said, I'm making this January and hopefully this year about FINISHING THINGS, following through with things, forcing myself to do it.

I've decided to do project pan with my makeup--for those of you that haven't heard of project pan, it is where you pick a number of items (my start is 11, some do 18 for 2018 etc) and they decide to either finish or make a dent in them.  I'm starting with a few items I'd like to FINISH, as well as some items I'd like to hit pan on or make a dent in:

Things I'd like to finish.  Most are pretty close already:

FINISH THESE:

1. Tarte Park Ave Princess- Finish  (I have hit pan on this one, I use it daily, but it’s pretty tightly packed so may take the year to finish)
   
2. Burts Bees Cuticle cream- Finish (pretty close to pan on this one but it might be a while before it’s finished)
   
3. Notable Gnome Orange Creamcicle chapstick- Finish  love the texture just need to reach fffor it more
   
4. Bye Bye Pores pressed powder sample-Finish  (nearly finished..might be a few weeks)
5. Senegence Color Correcting Tinted Moisturizer- Finish  (also nearly finished, I’ll use it daily till it’s gone)
6. Urban Decay eyeshadow primer- finish  (could take forever to finish this one, i forget to put it on all the time, but I want to get the Miliani one and I’m forcing myself to finish this first!
   
   
7. Glam Glow sample- Finish  (Maybe 3-4 masks from finishing this)
8. Banila Clean It Zero oil cleanser - Finish  (not far from this one, maybe 2 mo away)
   
   
9. Sunday Riley- Ceramic Slip cleanser - Finish  (It’s the “sample” version, but I WILL be purchasing the full size when I finish, love this one)
10. Senegence 3 in 1 face cleaner- Finish (This is my shower face wash so doesn’t get used as much)
11. Senegence hand cream- Finish (I’m just bad about using hand cream and I really should, this is a good one)
    
    
12. Colourpop Weenie (this I’ve used a lot of, but it shrunk and separated in the pan and I just want to try to finish it)
    
    
13. Exuviance Concealer (loved this but I’ve had it a while and it’s time for it to be done)
    
    
14. Bare Minerals Bare Skin concealer (Another I’d re-buy but I just bought Loreal Infallible which is similar and want to use this one up, it’s almost done)
    
    
15. Senegence Collagen night pack (another item that’s nearly done I just need to start using it nightly to finish.  This was EXPENSIVE so it’s hard for me to reach for it)
    
    
16. Mizon Snail essence eye cream (I’ve had this for a while, it’s almost gone so I’m going to use it exclusively till it’s gone)

HIT PAN ON THESE:

1. Peek lip gloss (I’ve had this for a while, I love it and I forget to use it)
   
   
2. Flower Highlighter (This will take FOREVER but I’m determined.)
   
   

Loreal Infallible Pro Glow foundation.  (Feel like I’ve used this a lot, but can’t see where I’ve made a dent it in it so I’m going to use it exclusively till I see progress..I think it’s just the packaging) --This is a bit dark for me right now and the lighter shades were to grey so might have to wait a while before I can do this one.

Tarte Amazon Clay Blush — love his one and use it all the time, I can’t even get it to look used!



So that's it!  I might add more, but hopefully I won't fail on these!   I'll do another post later with my skin care loves (and fails) from 2017!
